For-profit entities are not eligible for this funding opportunity. Organizations must demonstrate a proven track record of success in implementing projects in Afghanistan. Organizations must demonstrate current country registration license (when applicable), competent programmatic ability and be able to meet reporting requirements. Organizations may partner, but only one organization can be the prime recipient of the award.

Program Description

The Public Affairs Section (PAS) of the U.S. Embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan, announces a competition open to registered Afghan non-profit, non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and international non-profit organizations for an award to procure, deliver, and install complete sets of furnishings and equipment in women's dormitories (hostels) on the campuses of Herat University and Balkh University. The budget available for this program will include all logistical costs, materials, furnishings, personnel, and operating expenses.
